  9. PLANSTAR
  10. This is an evaluation copy of PlanStar - Resource Scheduling System 
  11. for Windows.  It differs from Personal Information Managers (PIM) in
  12. that it allows you to set up a table of resources - the people, places,
  13. and things for which you are responsible - and cross-reference them 
  14. with scheduled activities.  We call them CrossKeys, for CROSS-reference
  15. KEYwords.  Please call up the HELP file and read about them in more
  16. detail, because they are the HEART of PlanStar!

  18. VBRUN300.DLL
  19. This version does NOT contain the required file VBRUN300.DLL, which 
  20. must be present in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory in order for the
  21. program to execute.  This file is normally not included with shareware 
  22. versions, because it is quite large and also because it is so prevalent
  23. that most people already have it.  If you do not have it, you will 
  24. find it on most bulletin board systems; on Compuserve, you can GO MSL 
  25. retrieve it.  If you cannot get the file by these means, you may 
  26. contact ComputerEase and we will mail you a copy.

  28. STANDALONE VERSION
  29. This version is NOT a network version.  It may (at the user's risk and 
  30. discretion) be loaded on a network server for access by more than one 
  31. person but it DOES NOT allow concurrent UPDATES.  It must be noted 
  32. that ComputerEase does not provide support for any effort to put this 
  33. product on a network.  A subsequent version which will allow for 
  34. network installation.  Contact ComputerEase for information.

  36. WINDOWS 95
  37. This version was developed and field tested prior to Windows 95, 
  38. therefore no warranty or guarantee applies for operating in that 
  39. environment.  In point of fact, according to Microsoft there should be
  40. no problems, but ComputerEase cannot support that contention.

  42. ASPAS LIMITATION
  43. This product complies with the ASP Author Standards (ASPAS).  It is 
  44. limited to use for 90 days and 100 events, whichever comes LAST.  
  45. Please understand our position.  We do not intend to anger anyone 
  46. by taking this measure.  We feel that this limitation is more than 
  47. enough time to make the determination as to whether you want to 
  48. continue using it or not.  BUT...we also have a procedure for extending 
  49. this period; give us a call and we will give you a code that will allow 
  50. you ANOTHER 90 days and 100 events.  And we will do this for as long 
  51. as you want!

  53. INSTALLATION
  54. This product installs just like most Windows products.  It contains the
  55. bootstrap program SETUP.EXE, which can be executed by selecting the 
  56. FILE menu, then the RUN command.  You may also use the Windows File
  57. Manager to select and execute.
